What Parts Are Theses..
Ok so I had a thread on replaceing my wheel studs, but now I have another problem. I had to take my caliper off the brake line to get it back on the rotor. So I broke the bolt that goes from the brake line to the caliper, got the part out of the caliper so its all ok to go. So what is that bolt called? and is there 2 bronze washers on there(1 between the head of the bolt and the block on the brake line and 1 between the block on the brake line and the caliper?) and what are those washers called? Thanks

OK, the bolt you broke that fastenes your brake line to the caliper is called a Banjo Bolt. Yes, you need both of those copper washers. When you go to the parts store to get your new Banjo Bolt it should come with a set of 2 copper washers. I recommend getting your new Banjo Bolts at your local Napa Store. I haven't had good luck getting specialty items like this from Autozone.

if you have an extra hand or foot rather, just have some one pump the braeks 5 times the open the bleeder valve, and dont let the pedal come off the floor till you close the valve, do this two or three times, and make sure your master cylander is covered and full the whole time.
or if by your self, take a peice of clear plastic tube, i think 1/4 will work and put one end on the bleeder and submersre the other end in braek fluid, and pump till you dont see air bubbles, if the directions aren,t right for one person, someone will chym in, good luck

I personally always use the 2 person method mentioned above. My wife hates to help when my son isn't around but, it works great and it doesn't take that long.

The bleed valve or bleed screw as I like to call it, is located right next to where the brake hose connects to the caliper. It has a screw body so you can put a wrench on it and it has a little tit on the end where fluid and air can flow out when the screw is loosened/opened.
