Default What part do I need and where should I get it?

Hey all,
I'm working on the gauge cluster swap on my 96 and along with the gauges, I need to replace the "oil pressure sending unit and coolant temperature sending unit as the ones in my XJ are set up only for the idiot lights and not the actual gauges. I have been looking on the net for the part, but can't find it for a decent price where it specifies that it is for a gauge cluster with gauges. Also, the sites ask to specify if the XJ is European? WTF? My VIN decoded said it was built in Toledo.

If I could get a bit of help on this, I'd appreciate it. Also, Where do you suggest going for parts online? Also, the attached photo is the photo http://www.jeepin.com/features/gaugeswap/ shows for the replacements.

Thanks,
s

On the oil sending unit any parts store should have them. I know that you have a temp sensor on the t-stat housing and can get one for gauge cluster at parts stores. I don't think the 96's has the temp sender on the head I think it's plugged and you can look on the rear drivers side of the head to see if there is a plug. Anyways you can get the oil sender and temp sensor at the parts store for gauges.

I wish. The problem is that I live in a small town and other than the Stealor, the only auto parts stores are O'Reilly's and Napa. Now I'm very happy with Napa, but they want a lot for their parts and any of these three places have to order them. So...I was thinking I'd look at all of my options. It seems like a no brainer if I can order in a better product in the same amount of time off the net.

There is only one JY nearby and all of their Jeeps are tolder and don't have the sensor to match unfortunately. I know I can get the parts at Napa or O-Reilly's, but I'm looking for alternatives and options.
