Engine: Supercharged 440 Magnum punched .60 - yeah right.. 4.0 like everyone else.

What is this part?

What does this thing do and is it supposed to click/tap? It sounds like a loose valve tappet when it starts making noise intermittently. It looks like part of the vacuum system.

Mine did the same thing when I purchased it, and then it just stopped one day. Mine wasn't that loud and you could only hear it with the hood up.

Yeah, it's intermittent, so sometimes it makes noise, sometimes it doesn't.

Not sure what that means to this part.
