What part is this?
Just trying to limp my old 96 XJ along until my new ram is ready. Getting a little worried she ain't going to make it.
Anyways was getting a misfire. I decided to pull plugs and check them. While doing that this hose block broke.

the part with the red rag stuffed in it.
Looks like the plastic dried out and it broke while moving it to get to the plugs.
What is it called so I can replace it and try to get this thing to make it to april :/

I think that's the heater control valve. The location looks right anyway. There are a number of threads on here about it, including some simple solutions that do away with it entirely, as the later model XJ's (like mine) were designed without the thing.
