Ive got a gallon of Single stage NASON paint waiting to go on my Jeep. As close to OD green as I could match it. Then driving down the road about 1.5 miles from my house I pass a house with what, but an OD green XJ in the driveway.

if you want it to last, dont just tape off the mouldings. remove them. thats the first spot the paint peels on a maaco paintjob...

take the time to do the prep right. scuff all your paint with an orbital sander and a light grain paper. that gives the bedliner or paint something to stick to. equipment enamel can be found by the 5 gallon buckets at any farm and home or tractor store. its TOUGH!!! and looks good too.

Good luck, and do-her right. I've had to put a lot of money in mine, and shes an 88, so i wasn't concerned about bedlining, but didn't wanna deal with the windows/ Love the bedliner though, and i did a crappy job, and still love it. Good Luck and Post pics.

Check out my build thread. (clicky-clicky down there vVv) I did about 2 hours of prep. 60 grit on an orbital with lots of emk afterwords.

Guess i'm confused as to when you say window molding. Are you referring to the black rubber around the window?
