Default What are the manifold-to-collector bolts?

I hope I don't get rained out this weekend and can move ahead with installing a header into my 96XJ. I'm trying to stay ahead of the game and be prepared to replace the bolts that connect the header/exhaust manifold to the flange/collector/downpipe (whatever it's called). I'm assuming they'll break. What size bolts do I use to replace them so I can get them now? Do I need to go to the dealer (shudder) or can I just hit up Home Depot? Thanks!

The exhaust manifold (header) to downpipe (collector) is attached to the stock exhaust manifold, just need to remove the nuts.
If you are going to replace your exhaust manifold, they should come with a set of bolts and nuts (my APN does).
Btw, they should come off fairly easy.

Thanks. I ask because I got the header used and it didn't come with any of the hardware. I wanted to see if the bolts were a standard size I could pick up from Home Depot in case the originals were unusable. I downloaded the parts list from Doug Thorley and it says the bolts are 3/8". I think I'll be okay. I appreciate the reply!

No worries.
I would get a new exhaust flange gasket.

Appears I needed an adapter to go from the 3-bolts on the header to the 2-bolt exhaust flange. Also, the header is 2.5" and the downpipe is 2.25". I guess one of these days, I'm going to have to open that up. I believe whatever cat-back I go with, it'll be 2.5" already.
