I was being facetious......as in both being air cooled. It was clear they wanted the forum to know they had an airplane.

Naw....I just threw in the aircraft oil 'cause other types were thrown in.

The Rotella 5W40 T6 is in mine right now. Only question I wonder about is if it's "thin" enough to circulate good on a cold start.....
My top-end has some rocker arm noise....

Why wouldn't it be? It's 5w. I'd be more concerned about running 40 weight oil vs. 30.

I think you're misunderstanding the meaning of the "5" a bit given the way you phrased this. 5w40 means that when COLD (0 deg C) its viscosity is that of a COLD 5 weight. When HOT (100 deg C) its viscosity is that of a HOT 40 weight.

Because of lots of technical and commercial BS, actual performance and viscosity of oil ends-up being way more complicated than this in reality where not all 40's (for example) behave exactly the same. T6 is one of my top three oil choices for the 4.0 (Castrol 0w30, Pennzoil Yellow Bottle 5/10w30, and T6).

No oil lubricates ideally when cold. Not even a 0w30 will lubricate ideally when cold, so don't worry much about T6 during cold starts--it lubricates as well as all the others or maybe even a little better when cold. I live in southeast WI and have run (and currently am) T6 during winter. The 4.0 handles 40's just fine though gets no benefits from 40's simply due to viscosity. Rotella T6 is a great oil not because of its specific viscosity rating but because of the whole picture--viscosity, additives, breakdown rate (or lack thereof), etc.

At 100 degC it is equivalent to 5 wt. (or thinner) it has less viscosity at 100 C.
Simply put it has the similar viscosity as 40 wt. at 100 deg C. Multi-grade oils are all about better flow at low temperatures.

Incorrect, and I have corrected my post to reduce confusion.

My oil pressure was running a shade over 40 PSI before I changed to the T6 stuff, and it's now about 7 PSI higher. Not really a bad thing, but a bit curious....
Maybe it's higher because I replaced the filter adapter seals.
