for 33's i'd just keep the stock gears if you have stock axles.
unless you feel like dropping 3 hundred for gears and install kit, then another 4-5 hundred to set them up. and that's per axle. you need to do the front if you're gonna do the rear.
not worth it for the crappy stock axles, in my opinion.
oh, you'll also need new carriers too, then if you're gonna go that far, a locker for the rear. so that's another 4-5 hun.

find a set of axles from a 4 cyl, and then swap them into your rig.... chances are they are 4.10 gears and thats what one of my buddies runs for his 33's and he does just fine.... just have to search around for the axles though... some people just don't know what they have

i have the dana 35 in the rear now, if i dont need to change anything i deff wont, cash is an issue an all that, im deff goin with lockers in the long run, but i was jus wondering if ill have any longterm problems with the gears i have now if im pushin 33s in a heavy kinda way, shes gonna be a daily driver for the most part, so i wasnt sure if i should change the gears or not, i could deff find a 4 banger rear end, but like i said, if i dont nessecarily have to, thats a plus haha

sweet baby jesus, i didnt know swappin gears cost so much haha, even with doin the work myself, im not shabby with doin work, but if its something id have to take it in to have done, id soon enough take the easy way out and just swap axles with something that already has closer to the right gears already init

Mine is a 4.5" lift on 33's and I am still running stock gears. Does great wheeling. Still my daily driver and run it on the highway every day. I will change gears to 410s one day. But no rush.
