Default What front clips interchange with 1992 cherokees.
I need to replace my stock head light assembly an like 96-99 look.

the 97+ front will bolt right on the only difference is the edge of the fender on the 97+ is slightly taller and rounded then the 96 and earlier were.

Yes. And that front piece the headlamp assemblies bolt into is called a header panel.
