I'd say as big as you can fit. Stock were 9" and 10" drums, no idea why there was a difference. My '98 had 10" my 2000 has 9".

I went with Bendix shoes and drums from Amazon. Just picked-up a hardware/spring kit from NAPA.

Buy them local, not a huge difference on drums, swing by your auto parts store and they will have all the basics.

I would replace all of the hardware while you're in there, not just the springs. And even consider replacing the cylinders too for preventative maintenance. The kit and cylinders are cheap. I did a rear brake job and replaced everything but the cylinders and sure enough a few weeks later, one leaked.

For the shoes, I went with the NAPA premium ceramic shoes and drums.

^ good idea think il just get all the parts and replace the cylinder too, better to do it once but right then to mess around with it multiple times.

Amen, once you take it apart you might as well do it all.

1. Not that I've found.
2. Then life would be boring. Simpler, but boring

As far as brand goes, I haven't noticed a real difference between them for basic drums and shoes.
