I have this little harness sitting there not doing anything, anyone have any idea what it goes to?

Possible the connection to the engine bay courtesy light? Should have been attached to your hood, like where in your second pic there seems to be a empty uncovered place where it lives...would have to go out to see mine to double check.

Oh ok that's probably it, I don't have a courtesy light on my hood so that would make sense

Looks like it be that or maybe the water squirters for the windshield wipers.. May go to the electric motor...

Engine bay courtesy light for sure. I just took mine out when I put the louver hood on.
