So I did a ground refreshing today as per crusuer54's write-ups. Which are awesome btw. And found this:

Take some sand paper and hit the end of it and make it nice and shiny and you'll be good to go

I already got it with some steel wool and dielectric grease. but do you think i should replace it anytime soon

It looks okay if you ask me, just a little dirty. You can throw a wire sleeve on it and tape it up to try and protect it from the elements. But I wouldn't worry about replacing it, unless you are looking to upgrade. In which case, you should contact a guy named Jon (username 5-90 on this forum). He runs a business called Kelley's Work in Progress and sells basically thicker battery cables. Check out his website here:.
