im thinkin about cutting my 4 wheel drive shifter to right where the metal hits the black plastic type stuff and then putting another cam shifter on .. i got it cut all i need to do is a little chopin and drillin.. next is the e brake.. ill have to figure somethin out to release it.. i could drill through the whole cam and put a button in it but im gonna keep thinkin

im thinkin right where that red line going up the shifter ends at the bottom is where im gonna cut and put this on .. i dont see any clearance problems

As far as the tcase goes, Shift it into 4low and see where your shifter would be.
Reminds me of a buddy who used a large box end wrench for a shifter.
I have a Hurst Tshifter on mine.

my buddy did one similar for his dodge Cummings turbo diesel. he snapped the output shaft of his tranny at the truck pulls(1000ft-lbs will do that) and mounted it as his shift ****.

no it isnt threaded in to it i drilled a 1/2" hole through the cam and stuck it on there with some jb weld .. if you doing what i did drill a hole pretty deep so that there is as much of the shifter going into the cam.. for the one on the shifter i heated it up and forced all thread in there and its really tight it aint goin nowhere haha
