i would def break out the pressure washer and get every square inch of the jeep. as far as running differently something must have just gotten wet. dont know what to tell ya there except stay out of the water. i hate being in mud or water. you could check your spark plugs, wires, distr., etc to see if everything is the way it should be.

i normally after any trip in the mud at the very least make sure my radiator isn't clogged and blast all my brakes, and usually a once over the entire jeep to get the majority of it off

one is to make sure all the mud/rock/debris is out of your wheels. throws them out of balance and makes for a horrible ride.

Is your alternator packed full of mud. they tend to scoop-up crap due to the mounting position. Cleans the mud out of the fusebox area and any electrical connections. Clean the mud out of the inside of the wheels and the drum brakes.

I can attest to this. Mud packed into my rims cause my front tires to go out of balance and gave the Jeep a horrible shake above 40mph.

I would, BUT i kind like my AC... same goes for OBA system. The AC is the main reason I have a XJ instead of a Mangler.
