What do I do to remove my pinion gear?

Default What do I do to remove my pinion gear?

Ok, well im just pulling some gears out of a Dana 30 Housing I have laying around, already got everything out but the pinion gear, what do you do to remove it, just take the yoke off then thread the nut back on a little and pound it out the front correct?

Yup .. that's it.


If you're trying to save the pinion ... be sure to put your hand inside the centersection to try and "catch" it.
