John deere makes paint. Go with blitz black like a med gloss black. Or go classic jd green

mine is dark silver and I like it, but I have always thought that dark blue was the best color for XJ's

I did bed liner on the bottom 6 inches or so on mine (got rid of those shopping cart strips) and I really like it. Looks good and is really durable, the jeep is that factory pearl green.
