What A/C part do I need to replace?
About 3 years ago (yeah haha), my A/C stopped working on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. It has a leak somewhere in the system and I have put dye in the system and cannot find any leaks. Does this pretty much guarentee that it is the condenser? How can I check to confirm this before I take the 8+ hours it takes to replace it? If I recharge the system, it never gets cold and it does not stay charged for long. Thanks

you need to crawl up under jeep.. and were the A/C pisses water out... shine dye light up in the tube were the water comes out...if you see dye.. its the evaporator... also... the high pressure line that screws onto the condesor at the very top...pull header pannel off top of radiator and look right there at small line that comes up and screws on very top of condensor.. they like to rust out right there...

Are you just dumping a can of R134 in without evacuating the system and putting it under a vacuum? You're just pissing money away if you're not, air in the system will cause it not to remove the heat in the cab(there is no cold, just lack of heat).
