i have had rough country disco's and now Rubicon Express Gen II disco's. I hands down like the Rubi ones better. The RC ones always clanked and annoyed me. I've heard really good things about the JKS ones too.

I saw a set in the Quadratec catalog that looked pretty pimp, being dual discos and all...Forgot who made them though...

People complain about the RE ones, but I like mine. Pull the pin, hang em up. Hook em back up, lock the pin. Can't get any easier than that. The only downside is that the bolts they give you can pull through the swaybar eye if your pivot bushing is weak. I just knocked the bushing out of the eye and used a larger bolts with a washer. No rattle, no shake, solid as can be.

I was not a fan of the RE disco's. too many little parts, and they didnt work out for me haha. for 3" of lift you could always make your own though.
JKS ftw! money well spent.

I made my own for a 4.5" lift that I bumped up to a 6" lift. They still work like a champ.

Bro, they really were a piece of cake to make. Look in the Cherokee write ups section for "Homebrew Quick Disconnects". No drilling or cutting even required. Just need to buy a couple of bolts, a couple of coupling nuts and put it together with simple hand tools.

Definitley not "N rigged". I used all grade 8 hardware. I would never recommend one of my Homebrew set ups to anybody else unless I had thoroughly tested it and it worked good. I have done everything from DD to cross country driving to light off roading and these things have worked great for me. I always disconnect them for hardcore 4wheeling, or course. That was the whole reason I made them so I have the proper stability on road and great flex off road with quick removal and installation. They are super strong and less expensive to make than the best deal on an after market quick disco out there. You can use the idea or not. Just figured I'd throw it out there and save you a buck.
