just put some waterproof silicone around the base **clean the axle tube first or it wont stick**

and if you want to extend it just go get some rubber hose and run it high , i ran mine up the filler neck housing and put a one way fuel filter on top to keep crap out

while your at it extend the Tcase breather

sorry ment transmission(its late) which is on top found mine when it fell against the exhaust pipe and melted
