Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4 liter
On my 96 that is where part of the ABS is. Connector goes towards firewall for fronts, and On mine 2 wires to the rear ABS sensors.
the interrupt in the wiring could be for trailer brakes maybe? or for rear ABS sensors.
