What is this for?
Does anyone know what this wire is for?? My Cherokee is a 95 2 door sport. Maybe for light under the hood???

yep underhood light. I used that wiring to tie in with my 89 chevy underhood light on a 16 foot reel...great mod !

I know this is going to sound so very very stupid, but since I dont know I might as well ask. The under hood light, suggests an engine bay light!? I'm so sorry for this, but since I have none, I really dont know.

Correct, a courtesy light. Trust me it doesn't provide much of any help lol
