Default wet DRIVER's side floor

so i have seen all the post about wet passenger side floors from leaks from the AC lines, HeaterCore etc...however i have WET, WET, WET floors on both sides in the passenger compartment of my 2000 XJ and thoughts? i have not driven the Jeep in two weeks due to business travel, and it HAS been raining here. which leads me to the obvious i have a bad seal someplace...windshield/door etc. where is the most likely spot ad how to check it?

Start running a hose over the windshield. Chances are.that's where you'll see water entering...

If its leaking on both sides I would suggest the windshield. I flexed my XJ out a little too much wheeling once and the top of my drivers door frame was actually away from my Jeep enough to see daylight through with the door closed...and I of course got major leakage before I figured it out. I literally opened my drivers door and bent the window frame part of the door in just a tad. Fixed my problem.

for some reason in my 89 and my buddys 87 watter will soak the driverside not exactly sure where its coming from but it runs down and comes out under the dash in the center like its coming out of where the air blows from for the driverside driver bottom vent but it only happens when it rains hard and only once in a great while so maybe check see if the carpet is wet running down the tranny tunnel and down to the floor ???
