rod and crank bearings are in the bottom end of the engine. pull oil pan off, mark the rod bearings with number and orientation, remove cap, remove bearing, inspect bearing, inspect crank journal for wear, should not be any wear on the journals.

did you have any coolant in the oil???

Question . In the head of my jeep there were iridium Bosch spark plugs , are these better or worse than champion copper

I don't know if they are better, but they are more expensive. I like Bosch, some people don't.
