After tightening the nuts I kind of didn't feel too good about it... so I am not sure why ...heh heh, but I decided to put some thread locker and put second nut . I don't know if it's a waste ...but I did it any way

well, that's it ...
the new shocks are Gabriel "pro guard" 25 bucks at autozone .... together with new leaf spring everything is cool so far .

what isn't cool is that I hit my dumb head of the damn liftgate , actually right at the corner of it ... got pretty bad cut . What a dumb a&&&! and LOL ...

the problem is that you cant stick there any other tool but something like a rotary-tool ...there's just no room there with shocks in place ... huh huh

On a semi-related note, every damn bolt I touch in my XJ breaks with very little effort. What up with that?
The modern dremel could not do a thing. If I didn't have that old one (that's a gran-pa machine!!!!) I don't know what I could do really. I know I would be very very pissed ...that's for sure and could become very unstable as well , especially after the moment when I split my skull ...rofl....

and yeah.... the jeep rusted bolts are something to "love" and they sure keep us busy.
