weird start problem????

weird start problem????
ive got an 88 xj 4x4 6 cly.starts ok sometimes then for 2 or 3 days it just cranks and doesnt even hit. then it starts like nothing at all is wrong. contacted the guy i got it from and he said it did that to him too. so i guess it only starts on wednesday and friday??????? very strange

my 89 did this for a while i replaced the coil,iac,tps,ignition module, still nothing then i smacked the map sensor in frustration and it started next couple of times it did not start i smacked it again it did this three times i replaced its been starting ever since worth a try you never no
