weird sound when putting in drive or reverse

Default weird sound when putting in drive or reverse

so when i put my jeep in drive and or reverse it makes this reallt loud clunk an jerks hard... what could this be???


also my 4 wheel drive indicator only works when it wants to which is next to never and when it does work its wrong like when in full time it says part time what could i do to fix this prob???

also my power seats arent getting any power

-loud clunk means a bad u-joint on the rear driveshaft- dont let go- it will leave you standed.
-the problem of your 4 wheel drive indicator, could be not adjusted right, or under the jeep the linkage could be worn, or just not lubed, and could be sticking or jammed.

you could test it with a test light, see if you have any power at the conecter under the seat, could be a relay or just a fuse

i have no power at the seats and i have checked all fuses and they seem fine also when i said 4 wheel drive indicator i ment the lights that are suppose to come on on the dash not the shifter it self. a friend told me that it could be a vacuum line but idk were they would be
