I haven't checked it with a gun yet but Friday I plan to. I replaced temp sensor though.

I'm having the same exact issue with my 88 4.0 right now and it definitely is boiling over. This started happening after I powerwashed my engine compartment. It's pour black smoke and will not stay running unless i stay on the gas constantly. Once it's running for more than one minutes it starts overheating like a mother ****er. Can any of this have to do with the vacuum harness emission setup in the front of the motor. Where all the black smog vacuum hoses run into one. Most of those came unplugged and i can not find a good picture of how those hook up properly, and i think that's a major part of the problem. Someone PLEASE help asap Thanks

A minimum 50/50 mix AND a 15lb cap should send the boiling point north of 270F.
