Is it just my mind playing tricks on me?? Put my new soft 8's on today and it seems like i lost an inch or more?? When i got back in the truck i didnt have to hop up as much to get in. I've got the RC 4.5 on it.......

did u put smaller tires on the soft 8's?

i bet its because the tire is flattened out more bc the wheels are wider but a whole inch seems alot. Like b4 i bet the thread was mostly contacting the center and not so much of the sides and now it is nice and flat surface side to side.

Is it possible that a little wider rim expands the width of the tire footprint therefore reducing it's overall height?

ya thats why a 31 inch tire looks really weird on a 10 inch rim.

Nope still the same 32/11.50's but its a 15x8 maybe the wrangler wheels i had on there before were a lil narrower??

This is really weird... If you put up the same size of tires and rims then your won't loose height...
