Weid power break booster ?

? About booster and cylender
Hey my 2000 xj has a bad master cylender or power break booster. I am leaning toward the booster being the problem. I have pulled the cruise controll a long time ago. I know both the pressure booster and cruise control are tied to the vaccume system. I was just wondering if me pulling the cruise control may have had somthing to do with the seals in my pressure bosster crapping out on me. I am about to replace the cylender and pressure booster and dont want it to break again.
