I'm getting a sound when I put down the accelerator from a full stop. It sounds like trickling water. Still drives fine, just trying to figure out if it is something that should be addressed sooner rather than later. If anyone else has had this please let me know.

Could be a lot of things...

Could actually be trickling water, like maybe water is pooling up somewhere and runs down from the g-forces of acceleration (I'd suspect the cowl, the part where the wiper motor is)...

Could be an air pocket in the cooling system giving the illusion of a "water trickle" sound...

Or something else entirely.

Does it do it even after a few dry days? Might wanna check the cowl anyway..

If there's no water in there, try burping the cooling system.

 

if it hasn't been raining lately and you don't see any water running out then its trapped air in your heater core. Mine makes the noise during and after a rain. It's trapped water somewhere under the WW.
