Hi. I am a new owner of a modified '99 XJ.

I don't know everything about these vehicles (or cars in general really, but I'm learning!)

I went through a drive thru automatic car wash today and water leaked in somewhere along the tops of each front door onto the front seats while it was getting sprayed from the car wash.

The 2 leaks coming from identical places on each front door, somewhere in the middle above the windows. Is this common?

It does have a Rhino Roof Rack installed, not sure if that might have something to do with it... Didn't notice any leakage from the rear doors just the front ones

I've only driven it in the rain once and it was light rain, so I'm not sure if it's an issue in heavy rain... let's hope not! Anyway, if anyone has any idea where to go about resolving this I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Looks like you mite need new weather strip , and maybe check the door adjustment to make sure the top of the door is tight so it can seal and maybe the door needs to be bent in a little , if you try that make sure the window is down ,

 

Have you fixed it yet ?
