Water leaks into cabin only when it rains...
Well, I have a peculiar problem here. I noticed that only when it rains, there's some water that leaks onto the passenger side floor. I tried to follow the leak, but it's coming from under the dashboard on the passenger side and I honestly really cannot tell where it's coming from other than that.
Apparently, it's a common problem on the wranglers but it's almost unheard of on the cherokees. Any ideas on what this is?

my cherokee does the same thing, but its on the drivers side. I can't figure out where it is coming from either. The problem with mine is it drips on my ECM.

just a suggestion... i dont even know if it's possible, but if the rain is somehow getting into your blower/ducting (like through the cowl) and your drain is blocked, it could overflow and leak onto the floor.

i got the same problem, under the glovebox there is a gray heater blower resistor thing, held in by 2 screws. I took that out and figured out thats where the water is entering the cabin, the problem is, tracing where that is getting exposed exposed to the water.
I already siliconed around my blower and most of the cowl intake, dont know where any other drains are.

My passenger side floor board would get wet when it rained and i traced the water trail up the side trim. The windshield sealer was dried and when you pushed on the window there would be a crack in the sealer. I have the window resealed and havent had a problem again. If you pull the A-piller plastic back after a good rain and you see a trail of water then I would say pull the headliner back and you will probably have moisture on the inside of the roof. good luck
