2000 Cherokee with a sunroof. Appears to be factory install. Getting water drip from inside around rubber seal/trim. Anyone else experienced and fixed it? Looking for ideas before I tear into it. Thanks.

Used to just replace the gaskets. I think they are glued on with a urethane glue.

Does it have drains? Often the drains will get clogged

A sunroof is nothing more than a controlled water leak. The seal around the glass is not really for sealing water out, it's mainly for wind noise. There is a drain tube at each corner, they do get clogged and then the water has no place to go except inside the cab.

Check the glasses frame. Buddy was here last night with his 01 gtp and I noticed his seal wasnt sitting right. One little pinch revealed the frame being rotten with rust... his doesnt leak with the damage but im doubting him noticing it really. Just a thought. Good luck.
