washboards
if you drive very much on gravel you know what I am talking about, my family has a farm back in the wood that you have to take several miles of gravel roads to get to. The main road is usually a decent road but due to a lack of maintainence and whatever else it has developed washboards in the road, I cannot get my jeep over 20 with out the back end sliding out. So the question is what can I do besides driving slow down this road, my mom's chevy can take the road at 40 or faster if you want to push it and not slide or bounce off the road, my jeep is an 87 stock, no lift, radial tires, nothing special. What can I do to my jeep to help with the washboard gravel road or am I just stuck taking twice as long as everyone else to get out to the farm?

Do you hear banjos?
We have a ton of WB roads here, and I usually will drop pressure in the tires, and that helps. I'm usually on the way to go wheeling when this happens, so it's no biggie, but I wouldn't want to have to do it every time I drove down the road to go home!! LOL!!
