Has anybody used these quick-disconnects? One guy said their junk, don't get a good connection after they get a little dirty?

$40 for 1, I wouldn't even think about it. Y don't you go to the JY and just snip both ends of a wiring harness, pull the old wires and put in new ones for what you disconnecting.

They are exepnsive, but I need them. My winch will be setup to move from front to rear or even another vehicle if needed.

try searching around a little...40 just seems pricey for a set of connectors IMO

GOOGLE it. Here's the same thing for 20 bucks. I'm sure you'll find them cheaper yet.

I have my winch set up using them. Mine were 78.00 for the 7 foot of cable and the quick disconnects. They are great, I used them when I had a short and didn't want to fry my winch, and one time when I changed the mounting bracket for my winch. If they get dirt inside the disconnect I'm sure they wouldn't make a good connection. ( Need to be smart enough to clean dirt out of electrical stuff, always makes it work better. )
