Waggy tail lights install
So guys (and gals), my good friend DeadCellM60 scored me some Waggy tail lights from a junkyard for dirt cheap. I was wondering, how should I hook them up? They have 4 bulbs instead of the usual 3, so is there an easy way to hook up another bulb? I'd rather not go back to get the harness, cuz the place is an hour away. I could score some other stuff too though if I really had to.
If the stock tail light has 4 bulbs also, disregard this post. I haven't gotten to take them off yet, but I wanted to see what kind of attention this thread would get before I try the swap tomorrow. Thanks for any replies! I can post pics if needed/wanted.

Haha, I'll probably get the paint another time. I wanna see if I can even do the swap easily first. I might need to get the wiring from the Waggy also.

and then check the back pics on both of these, it is the exact same setup from the ones we pulled, I dont think they really changed much under the skin from models year to year, it was more the eye candy stuff and the creature comforts, one of the things that makes owning a jeep so awsome, simplicity lol

Glad to help! The only difference I noticed while pulling the housing was the Waggy had two bulbs for a single function (like the stop light) rather than the "one for one" you and I have. So it had four per side to our three. If you put the bulbs in the appropriate slots and just leave the last one empty you'll be fine.

Sweeet I might end up splicing an extra bulb in later down the road, or maybe a strobe to put in there. Then I can make a write-up for the strobe for anyone else to do it

Yeah, I noticed, when removed my tail lights that there were 5 spots on the tallamp for bulbs. But, I'm only wired for 4. There was the reverse, turn, brake/tail and parking lamp. But there was an open spot in the lower portion of the(red) brake/tail lamp and no more socket. What would that spot be for?

I guess I should say, there were four slots for the big bulbs, then a fifth for that one with the small yellow boot. Gauge, I just think that there were two bulbs running in the lower section of the housing in the Waggy model, in the others they just went with one.

Installation was a complete success. If the mods wanna make this a write-up, they have my consent. I'm gonna try to upload pics, but it's not letting me

You could easily convert to be extra break lights.

Mine had 4 main sockets for the bulbs, then a little one on the side for the parking light. Where was your 5th one?
