Per my scan guage II, my voltage sits anywhere from 12.7 to 13.1. No dimming or anything noticeable, i did just do the putco harness thinking it would help bit not so much, alternator is >1-2 months old. Looks like wiring (battery cables etc.) could use a refresh. Could that be my problem? Or is it normal?

Normal both mine run about the same voltage

 

mine shows 13.6 to 14.2 most of the time...

 

So should i update the battery wiring? Get a new battery? Any tips on what i should do?

 

You could clean the grounds and battery terminals run another ground to the fender from the battery.
