'97 Cherokee with 175k on it.

What would cause the front half of the vehicle to shudder everytime the compressor cycles? Started to happen right after I installed my front Aussie on Sunday, but I doubt it is related.

On a side note, what could also cause a VERY loud scrapping noise coming from the front end?

I would make sure the compressor isn't loose. Or a bad clutch maybe.
