Vibration and noise when hard take off
I know I'm sorry I'm trying to diagnose a noise and vibration over a web forum but maybe someone ran into this also. When I take off hard I hear and feel a vibration that feels near the tcase area in the floor pan. The noise goes away when it mid power range and it will also go away if I shift it into 4wd. I checked and all the mounts look good but my rear end has a wheel bearing going out bad and flat leaf springs with lift blocks to make it level. Any ideas?

All mounts? I have a clunking between 0 and 10 mph (take off) and after further investigation, found out my tranny mount was bad and the entire tranny/tcase/driveshafts have up/down play, causing the sounds and vibrations. So check that. Also check your ujoints on front axle and both driveshafts

X2!! Trany mount or U-joint. Would lean toward the mount on GP, but lean back the other way as when 1/2 the strain goes to the front it goes away. (U-joint)
