Vibration at 55mph, gets worse in curves
I had a simmilar wobble in my 99 Cherokee a few years ago and I was told that the steering stabilizer was bad and after I changed it out it all went away pretty easy to change

Steering stabilizers are usually known as a part that will mask other issues, and that was the case with my 89. Most normal/non mechanic people would have taken my jeep to the shop, and would have been told steering stabilizer, charged $300 for the replacement, and the ujoints, track bar, tie rod ends, shocks, lca's, and wheel bearings would have still been terrible, and if anything brought the wobble back again or something would have eventually snapped.
My steering stabilizer was original, and visibly leaking, but if it was the only thing I would have changed - it would have helped very little, if anything I only noticed the steering wheel wobble get decreased from swapping out the stabilizer. The front end tire shim is still there.
The moog one was much beefier than the OEM, and was only like $40 on rockauto, and very easy to do - so yes, it's definitely worth doing - but the chances of a wobble issue being only the steering stabilizer is very rare, as is documented on just about every single wobble/dw thread on the internet.

FIXED!!! For the most part:
So my tires were getting really bald since I drive 500miles every weekend going to and from home from Fort Gordon GA. So I finally decided to break down and spring for a good set of michelins. Once I saw the jeep up on the rack and the old tires coming off, I realized I needed to have the alignment checked due to the inside of both front tires showing the radial wires on the corner of the tread. A quick trip to the alignment shop and now the vibration is about 99.9% gone. I think I still need to swap out the hubs and u-joints anyway since they have 157k miles on them, but I don't feel the pressure to do it with a great sense of urgency now. Maybe next month when I get some money.
So, if you have the shimmy/vibration between 50 and 60 mph, check to make sure your tires are not wearing un-evenly first. Might just need an $80 alignment adjustment instead of $200+ worth of hubs and u-joints!

Ya I already had tires rotated on mine, didn't change anything - and I had it aligned after doing all the steering stuff - didn't help much either.
Not saying it's not tires for me, though - since I've been 99% sure it's the tires.
Thing that sucks is that they have good tread on them still. They seem to be "old" as in they sat for a long time with the truck before I bought it, but they seem to have gotten very little use. They're oversized and crap tires though. I'm going to be using them through the winter (I rarely push it past 50 anyway, especially in the winter) and I'll be getting a good set in the spring. From what I can tell, I don't see any uneven wear, though it's most likely happening because of the wobble.
I'd hate to waste this set of tires, and I really don't have $400+ to throw at the jeep now.... so for now, I wait.
Great to hear though!

I've replaced the control arm bushings with poly, New wheel bearings, swapped to cv shafts since I won't be off roading, New tierods(everything but the adjusting sleeves), recently found a second set of wheels to use for the time being that are good. Alignment is perfect. Tire balance has been redone. The other set of tires were worn flat on all 4 so the ball joints don't seem to be bad. The gear box was replaced as well. Granted it was a used unit that felt very tight. Track bar was replaced, stabilizer was replaced. No front drive shaft. And yet I still get bounce and shimmy above 64. My only guess is that the gearbox I got was crap.
