I have it on the shelf in the garage. I get people asking me all the time "where did you get that" I say I have a guy on the inside and they only give them out to certain people lol

If this is a "new to you" car, I would use Rotella T6 + a Wix 51515 filter (AKA NAPA Gold 1515), and change the oil at 3000 miles and asses how clean it looks. Buy 7 quarts, because mine takes around 6.25 quarts with the extended oil filter.
Actually, just buy 2 gallons because you will end up using it at some point anyways.

Mine was super black the first few rounds, but after a few oil changes and 10K miles, it had gotten noticeably cleaner and I started stretching it to 5000 mile oil change intervals.
