I haven't seen any info on this board about it. Next weekend I'm planning to replace the head gasket on my '89. Since the gasket kit I have includes the valve stem seals, I figured I'd replace them while the head was out. Not really sure which type of valve spring compressor would work better, the C-clamp type or the one that looks like a gear puller. Any suggestions??

 

I have used one of the C-Clamp type ones and the thing bent trying to remove the first spring. Personally I prefer the other kind.
