valve gasket cover torque level?

valve gasket cover torque level?
Me and my dad are trying to figure out what to torque the bolts on the valve gasket to. Saw on here that is was around 80in/lbs...
any truth to that? if not what is the right value?

It is a very low torque. For the inline 6, I have the torque listed at 55 in/lbs according to the Haynes manual. However according to my factory service manual for my 96, the torque is listed as 115 in/lbs. So it should be somewhere in between (what you have listed should do the job). But any more than that and theres a possibility you'll start snapping bolts. Here is the order of bolts when torquing.
