Default Valve Cover - Step by Step

Has anybody replaced a Valve Cover? It looks like a pretty much, easy job since the Cover is directly on top of the motor. Is it a just take the bolts off and pry it off kind of a deal? Im buying the Valve Cover set with everything included. (I WANT THE 4.0 BADGE ON TOP XD) But if anyone wants to chime in, lemme know!

The CCV elbows are pretty difficult to get out in one piece, especially if they are original on a motor with your kind of mileage.

Get a rubber Felpro gasket.

There's one bolt in the rear of the valve cover that will be a PITA to get to. You'll need some nice extensions/swivels to get it.

When putting the valve cove back together, don't overtorque the bolts. Put the bolts in finger tight and only about a quarter to a half turn more.

I don't have a link to it right now but there are a couple write ups in the write up section. Go take a look.

Good luck buddy.
