valve cover gaskets are simple
when you get the cover off make sure to scrap off all the old gasket if any is stuck to the cover
i use rtv a small amount on the cover then stick the new gasket to the cover line up all the bolt holes then give it a little time for the rvt to set
while waiting for that scrap the head really good but be careful not to get trash in the top of the head
lightly put cover on and finger tighten the bolts then start in the front and tight to torque spec in a criss cross fashion

Just did mine yesterday it's easy just the bolt on the back of the cover maybe a pain to get to but doable.
Get the Felpro permadry gasket. it cost about 50 bucks but worth it cause it will last forever and it's reusable. Plus you don't need to use rtv or anything to seal it.
