Default Valve Cover Gasket
I going to replace my valve cover gasket. Do I need to use RTV sealant on the gasket ? Its an OE MOPAR rubber gasket from the dealer.

No, no sealant is needed.

Clean and dry install..
*Snug 'em down gently.. overtightening is bad.

I always use alittle RTV to help hold the gaskets in place, last thing you want to is mess up the rubber when it falls out of alignment

No RTV. It causes the rubber to slip and when you tighten the bolt it can cause more leaks then you had before. I know some have had good luck using it but it's not recommended on rubber gaskets.
