Vacuum Switch.
I've been pondering this and wanted to know what others think, maybe its been done before, maybe not.
The EGR valve on the Renix is controlled by a vacuum solenoid.
I'm thinking that a second soleniod could be wired up to supply vacuum to the CAD (Central Axle Disconnect) and wired to a switch on the dash to give electrical control over the CAD.

That would be a electric solenoid similar to the ones that operate a air horn on a semi.
Yes some of them are push button nawadays instead of a cord.
I priced one out for something last year and it was around $60 to $90

It just seems the EGR vacuum switch would be easily located from a parts XJ.
It was a just an idea. It would cure some of the vacuum headaches related to CAD's.
