thanks

I havce the same issue right now, haven't looked at my lines in detail yet but i think it's related to my control panel. Did you ever pull that out and check the back of it?

First thing to check is the vacuum canister behind the passenger side of the front bumper. About the size of a softball. Notorious for developing cracks and leaking. The cracks are sometimes hard to see as they can occur on the factory seam of the two halves of the spherical canisters.

I had the same problem and replaced all vacuum lines and checked ball, still had the problem. If you are 100% those are all good then it could be the vacuum line behind the dash that runs to engine compartment on passenger side firewall. You could open glovebox and try listening for leak after shutting off engine. My problem ended up being the actual controls had failed so I bought one off ebay for $18 and it fixed the problem. The only other thing I have heard of is your blend door actually being broken or obstructed by something. If you search blend door you will find fixes.

Got a question for this thread..
Ive got my vac ball just laying in my backseat..
Defrost works well just like dino is saying.. but obviously I have no other settings because the vac ball isnt hooked up.
Where does the vac line that goes to the ball come from?

Towards the back of the intake manifold on the engine, on mine it sticks up a bit off the intake.
