Progress. And I figured it was my turn for one of these style pictures

 

Can anyone tell me what this little vacuum line goes to? After working all morning on the heater core (obviously inside the cab), I looked and found this on the ground underneath the engine bay area. After looking around, I can't tell where it might go

 

Below the blower motor on the firewall.

 

It's the drain line for the A/C condensate.

I really hope to never do a heater core again. That was awful.

Now a problem. Everything is back together and now I only get air coming out of the defroster and at the feet. The defroster setting works well but all other settings just blow at the feet. Blower motor and resistor are new, I checked and rechecked for vacuum leaks, there are none, everything's hooked up as it should be. Any other reasons that may happen? And I know I'll be told to check again for vacuum leaks. I already did again, and there are none. I'll check for an 8th time

 

In the HEAT position? Sounds pretty normal to me. Heat goes to feet. Defrost goes to windshield.

 

Should have clarified. Whether it's set to heat or cold, it stays at feet.

 

Blend door perhaps?

 

I thought that as well. I tried to fiddle with it with no luck so far. I'll try to mess with it again to see if it'll make a difference
