can i move the vacuum canister to a different area? if so how and is there anywhere it cant go? can the little plastic line be replaced with a stiff rubber one?

 

Sure, you can move it anywhere that it has room and won't interfere with other accessories. As far as the hard rubber line goes, why not?

It also controls your vents for heating & A/C.

As for relocating it, I put mine in the engine bay over the oil filter. I tie-wrapped it there and it doesn't move. I checked for heat and it's not bad enough to make any damages. I know some people have put it on the same side as the air box.

 

It creates the the pressure that changes the airflow from defrost to vents to the floor
